The course of their project was led by Mark Christmas teacher of Thomas a Beckett year 7, responsible for planning and organising the year 7 geography unit on regenerating areas of Worthing, from the Aquarena to Teville Gate. The Programme Team provided the pupils with copies of the Worthing Masterplan, Seafront Strategy and Public Realm Strategy to set the parameters of sites within the town centre boundary, which would also flag up some of the issues they needed to take into consideration such as Conservation Areas, Listed Buildings, Views, Coastal Defences, Heights Massing, Transport etc along with a presentation for schools.

The pupils produced written material for different audiences and presented their ideas through persuasive writing and illustations, and created some amazing projects, from the Worthing Aquarium, to the Worthing Snow Dome, to the colourful Egg Complex!
